In 2002, I walked out of a gym and never went back. The trainer didn't take me seriously when I
said I only wanted to get stronger and didn't want to hear any diet talk.
I quit exercising for years because of that experience.
You never have to.
Pilates is the best Physical Therapy I have ever found. It works faster and more gently than any
other modality I have experimented with. No, it won't erase all limitations, and anyhow bodies
are not problems to be fixed! But it will help you:

Sessions held over Zoom (need to have a camera and internet/a machine that can handle a zoom call)
All you need is a yoga mat and a body
What to Expect:
Pre-session: We communicate over a text app what your goals are (for example, decreased pain, increased strength, etc) and what your limits/past injuries might be.
First session: body/mind check in. every day is a new day! Go over Basic Pilates language, principles, and movement so you understand cueing. No one is born knowing what "Pilates Stance" or "blend your ribs"means!!
If this is your very first time doing Pilates, we do an intro mat session. This includes a warm-up of "landing" in your body, just doing v simple movements. Then we do up to 10 distinct actions designed to stabilize and mobilize the body. All are done on the mat, laying down or sitting up. If it's not your first time, everything stays the same, except we do more mat Level one actions (up to 20).
Then we do a closing action and debrief <3
